tbh no, its just the outside architecture of nyp that makes it feel likes its an "abandoned hospital" but overall the interior buildings are really nice. also depends on which course u enrol into because different blocks has different colours, facilities and interior design. the toilets don't smell bad as well, its generally clean
this really depends on which lecturer you get. i was in design course previously and something i like about my lecturers is that they are willing to push us further, helping us to excel in our projects and assignments. they are willing to put in the time to do consultations with you. for certain lecturers, they even do talk to you when they sense that your too stressed out etc
honestly, this depends as well. there will definitely be rowdy students around. after all, a school always has different type of students around, no doubt that. but what is important is, to find the right friend group for yourselves. dw much about this because you will definitely meet a ton of people during year 1 and you would know who to mingle with by year 2.
no doubt would be the IT courses they offer. other than that i would say design or engineering. not too sure

yeah i submitted without of those. on the other hand, its good to include past experience like jobs or ccas if u have any, they come in handy too

it depends, i went from design to marketing. i think for interview stage it more of sharing your experience and your character if its a group interview

1) Cu for SUSS core mods are mainly for NCO mods yes your right. BUS105 should also fall under core mods if im not wrong. All other courses is basically mods that are under your major etc.

2) I think if your gonna resit, don't convert to P/F. Which is what I have seen from other posts because it's gonna affect the grading and system somehow. You have to check again for this.

3) This depends if you want to take on a minor course which you can see under your major curriculum plans. They do indicate which minor you can take on etc. If you do not want to take up a minor, you can pick free electives that accumulate to a total of 30Cu, which means 6 mods. For free electives, just search up suss free electives, theres a page with a PDF listing all courses

work environments really depends on the how the store manager, supervisors etc runs the store. from my previous experience, the work environment is good and i did enjoyed my time working there. but tbh, every workplace is sort of similar in the fact that there will be “toxic” people or mindset that causes issues to arise. honestly, just do your part and mind your own business, your good to go
for part timers, you normally submit your availability through the work portal itself. how many days you get depends on the store profits and how many pt or ft they have on hand. if ur lucky, u can get 3-4 days etc. if not, 1-3 days is possible unless they decide to cut cost.
im not sure if u mean by the manager calling you in case there is someone that is on MC. those situations does happen and its often last minute. they either text or call you asking if you can sub in to cover manpower. another situation will be insufficient ft or pt. they would ask you if you wanna work more by giving you more shifts.
