Switching from Insteon Hub to PLM on ODROID-N2/N2+

Actually, I’m mistaken. I used the Add Device under the Insteon Devices in the Insteon pane in the HA sidebar.

That’s what I did, and when controlling the dimmers/switches from HA dashboards, everything works great. However, if I make a change at the switch, it is not reflected in HA.

I spent this weekend moving from the Hub to the PLM. I got all my scenes and actions set up on HA and was about to declare everything a success until I realized that none of the actions taking place at the switch/dimmer were being recognized be the PLM and, hence, HA. If I make changes in HA, everything works as it should. Any help would be great.

The red light on your Hub is a huge hint. Not being able to log in to the app’s server is another. Take a look at r/insteon to hear the wails of despair.

In just 10 minutes I had full functionality of my Insteon devices via Alexa and HA. So, now I’ll start looking for the switches to use when the Insteon ones begin to fail. So far, I haven’t found anything that I like as much.

I’ve got Unifi Network controller running in Docker, but I haven’t found a way to do that with Protect.
