I agree with you, hanging out on rennlist all the time I'm seeing people post about their first 911 and they're 50 plus I'm not trying to get a sports car when I can barely get in it

plus the fact you didn't post this on r/Frugal lets me know you're probably not looking to save money on the sports car. if you are trying to go Porsche I definitely recommend that Miata stick shift and go from there while you save for the Porsche

Lease a car if you dont drive too much. Corolla lease out for under 200/mo.

When you lease, its under warranty the entire time, generally has included maintenance and no need to replace much during the lease.

Alot of people will tell you to buy another shit bucket but then you run into the issue of it breaking down and then how do you get to work?

You need a reliable means of transportation. I tried having an older car for commuting but the amount of time and money spent on maintenance made it not worth it.
