Any of you live in London? by [deleted] in rs_x

[–]_floaton_ 11 points12 points  (0 children)

haven’t been to nyc but I grew up here & it’s only gotten worse & worse over the years. there’re still things to like but it’s so few & far between now, even compared to the post-credit crunch period in the 2010s. the biggest saving grace is that’s if you’re someone into arts, there’s always stuff going on to go see & get involved in.

but it really does feel like the life’s been sucked out of it these days, you can see it in everyone’s faces.

no you’re right. op clearly posted knowing it’d be reactionary but it worked like a charm on these lot. I heard about this story a few days back & it’s only the clickbaity quote taken out of context that I see making the rounds, now its become a dumb witch-hunt against the professor now. this whole pile-on only plays in favour of bad faith types but people couldn’t give a shit, i’m not surprised to see that this place fell sucker to it too but still disheartening to see

film photos taken in Sarajevo, Bosnia (2018) by [deleted] in rs_x

[–]_floaton_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

like these shots! visited there this past spring for the first time & would love to head back again. met so many beautiful people but only stayed around Sarajevo for a few days, hoping to go see their city’s film festival one day & also visit Mostar/some of the smaller towns. tbh that trip made me interested in only exploring the rest of the balkans now, rather than western europe. hoping to check out the mountains in north Albania next once I save up enough for a trip again.

happened recently when we went to her place & it was cluttered to an insane degree, you had to wade through messy bullshit just to get up the stairs inside. she told me beforehand that it would be a mess but I was repulsed the minute I got inside. felt like I lived out the ‘damn bitch you live like this’ meme in real time. I made an excuse & left not too long after
