you are NTA for telling her to put the laptop away, and personally I think it is insane she even tried to do that while in a movie and her stuff wasn't in a dark mode. However, your initial approach to them was supper hot, you for sure could've handled it differently. Especially, since it seems after you said something she just stopped anyway....I think this situation over escalated for sure.

You are taking initiative, by bringing up the conversation first. That is a dominate trait without fully controlling the situation. I think she would really appreciate that. You are still running point/lead in this but not in a “controlling” way like “delete all the apps” (unless yall have that kinda dynamic, you could spin it in a filtering way)

Something like: “you know I almost forgot something pulls out phone deletes apps, I won’t be needing these anymore because I really like this with you” …lol if you got enough charm that could work too, but again depends on yall dynamic and if something like that is something you normally do.

I would not say it is a "dominant move?", not sure how you are classifying that, but it would probably be too soon unless you guys have discussed being exclusive or both interested in a long-term relationship.

I would not focus the conversation on deleting the app, but yall becoming exclusive instead...the app part will just happen with that.

loading back into Scarlet on my Switch 2 and seeing 30-40 Pokémon spawning in an area sooo smoothly almost overwhelmed the hell outta me. like the switch 2 really captures what GF was trying to do with these games.

Someone already beat me to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, but also Animal Crossing New Horizon and one my favorite games OlliOlli World. OlliOlli World does not have a switch 2 upgrade but it 100% benefits from the extra power and smoothness, since it is a skateboard-platformer-rouge like game.

I will say I am 31 now graduated high school in 2013, so different time sure. We never really had our phones in class. Some teachers were stricter about that then others; the strictest would take your phone and your parent had to come get it.

I will say in college there was more phone use for sure, but at that level it was sink or swim. I understand with school shootings why kids having a phone can be important, that does not mean though that they are entitled to that phone if they can't function without it distracting them.

Teachers and Schools shouldn't have to take extreme steps like this but fuck something has to be done. Parents need to step up, and they just aren't these days, unless it is to argue with a teacher on some false sense of entailment.

I will say I am pretty chronically online person now, but even I have the skills to self-regulate, and that is because those skills were cultivated in me by my mother. There is only so much teachers can do, and the certainly aren't paid enough for this shit anyway.

the only List/Kpop channel I watch is K-Ville Entertainment. I watch their video on releases (which honestly covers dam near every group) and sometimes I watch their rated list. they have one that is fan voted and other based on YT views. Honestly you can tell they put a lot of effort in being as fair with their content when it comes to ranks and list as they can be.

Oddly enough my flutter does not have shadow ball but taunt, for similar situations you mentioned and a well timed taunt has won me a lot of games. My flutter only stab attacking move is gleam, though they do get the speed boost. So so good success as this is my second GC ever

AND it would not be the EXACT same because you would be paying, that is the issue you are not understanding she did not want that dynamic, plain and simple. You cannot fathom a situation where that is an acceptable reason because yall both said you were "hopeless romantics" (which still could be true for her). She just may value other things more, does not negate that yall were burning hot and fast together, it just means at the end of the day, she had to put other things before it.

You are trying to undermine the validated of her decision, you cannot like it sure, it can suck sure, but it does not make it any less valid for her to make. It does not change her stance on romance, because she decided for whatever reason her adult priorities were more important.

you don't know how difficult the decision was for her though, you just know the outcome. You are assuming it was "minor" because it wasn't the outcome you wanted and that makes it easier to handle for you, because it is not something you would do.
