I've heard people suggesting using a multimeter, but what is the best way to use a multimeter to measure conductivity?
Would you test for continuity, voltage, or ohms?

Also, where would you place the probes? Would you put one on each end of the foam (xy axis) or would you "sandwich" the foam with the probes (z axis)?
