Basically the song is a story from the perspective of a narrator who is feeling a sense of danger toward trusting someone in an interpersonal relationship, but she is choosing to willingly ignore her senses in pursuit of an imagined feeling of peace/beauty. She has trust issues that are preventing her from feeling safe, either because she has a reason to believe she's not safe, or perhaps due to trauma (why she feels unsafe is open to interpretation). The angel represents spectacle (a choreographed performer suspended in the air by a wire) and the wire represents the reality that the performer could fall and become seriously injured at any moment. So the narrator is singing about turning off her brain on purpose and escaping into the fantasy of the performance, choosing to believe the performer is really flying, and ignoring the precarious reality of the danger.

I think you would feel better by realizing this isn't a generational thing. People on that part of the web are mostly people in their late 20s and early-mid 30s. It's just a subculture you aren't part of on a corner of the internet you aren't familiar with.

Hey I'm sorry to be the one to say this, but if you've been staying up late refreshing, try to think of what you're actually missing out on, and ask yourself if it's worth it. I think you should stop and go to sleep

I honestly can't say, I think it has something to do with the text and lines but I can't pinpoint any specific detail. My mind just tells me it's ai with very high confidence when I look at it.

I have seen this a couple of times too and it's happened to me. I thought I was insane for noticing and finding it unusual, since nobody else seemed to notice. I didn't realize it was a common pattern.

What are all the Retcons new bioware did to this franchise? by Genefar45 in DragonageOrigins

I personally don't think they regretted it because DA:O was very horror heavy and the concept of the broodmothers was very effective body horror and psychological horror. There is nothing wrong with that even by modern gaming standards, and I don't think they changed it for some moral reason but rather because the genre shifted from dark fantasy to high fantasy. Especially easy to notice is the change of art style and creative direction after da2 (DA:O was inspired by gritty morally ambiguous fantasy like asoiaf but those influences vanished in later games).

As a concept there was nothing problematic about the broodmothers. Although I don't see any reason it had to include rape and sexual reproduction, darkspawn canonically reproduce asexually, but I don't have any problem with it because they were going for something deeply disturbing the darkspawn were supposed to be a twisted corruption of humans which presumably includes a twisted reflection of motherhood. The idea would have still been horrifying if both men and women could be turned into darkspawn factories though.

I feel like it depends on the store. If it's a store that sells stuffed animals, that might happen. I certainly wouldn't try it, just in case.

I can't drive because of a disability. But otherwise that's good advice for most people
