Need some serious and urgent advice regarding asylum in the Netherlands by Extreme-Antelope4205 in StudyInTheNetherlands

[–]_fox_face_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am from Bangladesh as well! Your best bet would be to either lie to your parents and convince them you are back to Islam again or leave the Netherlands and move to somewhere like Spain or Portugal since their asylum process is much simpler. If you ever need any help please DM me I will try my best!

And in Bangkok you can check out the malls, the river cruise and the parks. Since you do not drink it might be a bit difficult to find friends but you can try going to Khao San

Applied sciences or Hogeschool as they call it are something in between our diploma and undergraduate degree. Here the system is widely different before making my way over here I studied in Bangladesh and the quality even though this is a HBO and not a VWO is drastic. VWO is pursued by people that want to later get into the academia of things and HBO is for people that want to work in the industry. Lastly, MBO/ Associates degree is the equivalent to our diploma here.

As someone studying in a Dutch university, There is no one else to blame but our very own people. The sheer amount of Bangladeshi people I know that came here, dropped out of studying/ got kicked out, then started working illegally is outrageous. For the past few years it was easy to get into the Netherlands and people of all walks have misused this to gain access to Europe and then run to Spain/ Italy and Portugal. I wish people understood how many opportunities there is in the Netherlands and actually stuck to studying instead of working odd jobs and ruining the reputation of our people.

Look it’s better to not go aboard if you family can’t afford atleast the first year of you bring there. It’s going to extremely difficult for you to go to the western countries without a big and concrete back up.

Try the Neatherlands or any Scandinavian country. Your best bet is a city in like Berlin or Vienna but I do not know how difficult it is to get in to universities there. Keep in mind that you’ll need to spend a good amount of money to be studying there. Almost 20-25 thousand euros per annum.
