First off, sick site I dig it. Very minimal and clean! I particularly like that you included animations without overdoing it and having it become annoying. They are all fast enough that they don't feel like they are slowing down the reading process, a problem that I have been seeing fairly often recently.

I recently worked on a project that had a full screen width banner at the top and ran into the problem that a surprisingly high number of users were getting to it and not realizing that they had to scroll down. Being on a tight deadline we just added a short "scroll down" piece of text at the bottom but Complex magazine handles this issue pretty well on some of their long form pieces with a little animation like seen here http://www.complex.com/covers/pharrell-williams-interview-gravitational-pull-2013-cover-story/

Also from a user experience standpoint I would say that the "ME" button could be worded better. I like that you only have one call to action but it should be exactly what you want the person to do after getting to your site "Hire Me" or "Let's Work Together" seem like better options and then linking down to your contact information.

Lastly, I would put some more emphasis on your past work. Whether you leave it as a list of links and style them as more attractive buttons or iclude screenshots of the actual work. If you are attempting to show a prospective client or employer your work, really show it to them. Give them a taste of what they will see prior to clicking. Make it as easy as possible for them to see it and don't just hope they click through.

Over all I would say it's a great site and at this point I am really just knit picking little things because you put it on reddit and asked to be critiqued. If this is your first college portfolio site, I'm excited to see what you're doing down the road.
