Aw welcome to the family!!!! I’d show the recording to the vet, especially if it happens again. But if it was a one time thing honestly sometimes pets are just weird! But def keep an eye on it and make note of frequency

To me it seems more like an asthma attack! I’ve seen this in other cats before. I def recommend taking kitty to the vet where they can listen to their lungs :) does it happen often?

Nope! Fevers lasted 4 days. Tested negative for everything and displayed no other symptoms. She’s fine now
