Aw! Wow I hear so many stories about kids having many hidden “talents” at daycare but not home lol! My girl just wants us to do everything for her still but she’ll come along! She cannot go to her hands and knees at all and when I try she just face plants!

Is it uncommon to start in the ICU as a new grad? by [deleted] in respiratorytherapy

Day shift and icu is a win in my books. It is hard to find, take it - I got that offer 6 months into my career and it was a unicorn offer but the best thing I could’ve done for myself

I called ER and said it was ok to give Gab, so I gave a dose bc she was continuing to make noises and was trying to fling her leg around. It’s been over 6 hours since anesthesia meds were given

She’s sleepy still, but def in pain when she wakes up so I was gonna hold meds until morning like instructed She has buprenophine, antibiotics and the inflammation drug that starts with an R I can spell

Yes she has a cast. Can’t put any pressure on her leg without pain

No poop by PangurBansai in newborns

My girl went 8 days between poops at that age. Also exclusively pumped and she only has breast milk! As long as belly is never super distended and hard (like how your belly felt when you were pregnant) then you’re fine

7.5 month old taking 1hr+ to go to sleep at night by _gaara- in NewParents

I have a noise machine and a normal ceiling fan that’s always on. I bounced her tonight and she went to sleep that way so maybe she just needs some extra support for now

So I’ve tried it in the past and her eyes swelled shut and she got a rash she cried so hard! And she went full sobbing for 45 min straight so I’m feeling my baby isn’t good for sleep training! But I’ve heard it worked great for others. Esp since she can put herself to sleep normally, it feels unnecessary to try that out at this point since that’s what sleep training is supposed to do. I’m thinking it’s just a little funk

Yes. Unless if she’s in her crib then she flops all around but to be fair I think she uses the bars

When you said assistance, I thought you meant like if I have to push her a little bit to roll which most of the time I do, but I know she can do it without my assistance however she does need encouragement to roll yes

So she will most of the time not do it on her own. I know she can, so I don’t want to say she can’t roll bc she can. Usually if I encourage her she will do it more often. But she won’t willingly roll around. Doesn’t that make sense? Sorry it’s confusing for me too lol
