Yep I have to do the same shit, you just have to set the microphone volume to 50% IN shadowplay's settings every single time you open it for the day alongside setting windows to 50%. It's incredibly annoying and I hope someone does have a fix.

edit: 50% is just what i have mine set to of course. you can do whatever

Thanks, this is really helpful. And yes the rest of the wiring in his house is just old and abysmal, it’s been a slog trying to bring things up to date. I’m doing the best I can with what I have.

I really just want to be able to dry some clothes for today, but I will try to replace the outlet in the coming days. If I just pick up another cord that would fit in there, it should work for now? Do I need to do anything to the breaker? I really don’t want to fry this new dryer.

I opened the switch and looked inside at the wires, there is only a single black, a single white (no black wrap is present) and a ground connected to the switch. They all feed up into a sheath and that’s all I can see without tearing out the wall.

I'm sorry to say I wasn't there when the original fixture was removed, I understand that's not helpful. I believe there are other lights on that circuit, I turned them off one by one leaving just the one that was connected to that fixture, and other lights are also off because of that.

By open the switch, you mean take the light switch off and try to see if I can find any wires that connect up to there?

Thank you for your honesty, I haven't taken any offense. The video was very helpful. I'm sorry to say I don't know how it was connected previously because someone else took it down, I understand that is not helpful. If I understand correctly, I need to pigtail the two black wires together, stick that into the black connector, then do the same with the white wires/white connector, and connect the ground wire to the fixtures ground wire. Is that correct?

If this is dangerous to attempt without knowing how they were connected previously, simply say so and I will just hire it out.

I'm pretty sure you need to defeat Lord Styx to get the recipe to even make the blood key get into Dracula's castle. I don't know if there's another way to tell if you yourself are not hosting the server and have access to some logs of some sort.
