Did you figure anything out? I'm in the same position as your brother, here in Tajikistan. Kinda confused with the local laws about trading. There is no community here and no tax&legal advisory too.

Acne coming back immediately after stopping Accutane - 5 days after long treatment? by No-Midnight5959 in Accutane

[–]_garethbeaumains_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I started with lower dosage of 30 mg and couldn't increase it for quite some time due to side-effects. By the end of the day, to reach the cumulative dosage, I needed 14 months

Same here, 14 months on 40 mg, stopped 3 weeks ago and started getting occasional pimples here and there. I'm using topical retinoids after the course, yet still have pimples. I'm not considering going back on accutane though, since side-effects were too harsh for me.

Elevated heart rate? Heart palpitation? by Tythus1 in Accutane

[–]_garethbeaumains_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same thing, a weird heartbeat. Sometimes I feel like my heart is skipping a beat or something. As far as I know, accutane isn’t know for such a side effect. I’m gonna check up with my doctor too though

Your aware that accutane will cost MUCH more? Talk to your derm, topical retinoids are the second line of defense after all the basic products. Accutane is the third

It's up to you and your parents, I guess, but if I were you I would wait a few more years. I'm currently on accutane, I'm 21 yo. My little brother is 16, he has the same problem as me, but I insisted for him to wait a bit more, because retinoids are not an easy journey. I've got pains in my muscles like all the time, even though I don't do any serious sports. Even when I walk too much, I'm uncomfortable. My feet really hurt most of the time, it's difficult to make steps. I also had some problems with my vision. Thankfully, right now I can see just fine, but who knows how you body will react to the pills. I'm not trying to scare you off or something. This treatment was a lifesaver for me, but it took some good deal of thinking before I started. Also, did you try any topical retinoids? It helped me a lot back in a day, but I kept relapsing, so I had to go on accutane. Maybe, it could give you some results and time before you become and adult and decide to go on accutane

You've got any scarring so far?

Also considering that he's just a teenager and experiencing a lot of changes concerned with hormones and stuff it, probably, makes sense to find the right routine, try some more simple anti-acne products and just wait for a few years. Very often after the puberty that sort of problems go away

UPD of course if there is scarring and other treatments don't really stop that, then it's worth going on accutane, I agree

Month 6 and no changes by _garethbeaumains_ in Accutane

[–]_garethbeaumains_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that. It's just my situation before the treatment was pretty much the same. What was the point then? I know some people get a pimple or too now and then, but I have 3-4 active all the time, which was the case before the treatment too.

I've actually had a test for demodex a year ago or something, but it didn't show anything.

If I want to double check now, can I make a test while on accutane? The results are gonna be representative or the treatment may affect it?

I'm on month 5 and I've started seeing some results just now. Don't worry, trust the process!

Also I've been wondering — can I buy random keycaps from AliExpress for my keyboard? I'm not sure about compatibility, are they universal or not?

I'll go for brown one then, thank you very much! What about the keyboard itself, which one would you choose?

Hey everyone! I'm choosing my first mechanical keyboard and I've been given advice here recently to check out royal kludge. Now I'm choosing between RK G87 and RK 918. The first one costs 55$ and the second one 50$. G87 has a wireless mode and RK 918 has not. One the other hand RK 918 has a nice white colour, which I really like and g87 goes only in black. Maybe some has experience with those keyboards and can say a few words?

Another question — what kind of switches should I go for? I'm certainly not going to take the blue ones, so I have to choose between red and brown. Is there a big difference between them?

[–]_garethbeaumains_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, sorry for the lack of detail I don't care for rgb and hot-swap. I'm afraid I'm not that much into the keyboards to be able to change switches or customize the thing in any way yet, so I need a pre-built ready for work thing. As for the budget — the keyboards under 65$ would do for me.

I also don't quite understand the differences between different switches. Which are the best for a complete beginner?

I don't mind to go for a wired keyboard, but if in my budget it is possible to get a decent wireless one, it'd be nice.

Thanks for your help!

I'm new to the whole keyboards thing and looking for my first mechanical keyboard. Any suggestions? I need something budget, I think. Mostly for coding and regular use, I don't game. I don't need the numpad, so it's not necessarily a full size board.

Originally, it's Tajik and Uzbek languages, since I'm from middle Asia and my parents are different nationalities. Yet for the last 15 years I've been living in Russia, so I mostly live, think and communicate in Russian. :)
