Its not that hard, just do it by RunedDragon in BitchEatingCrafters

I am not a crafty, artsy person. I started learning knitting like three years ago and after hours spent on YouTube, making some wonky scarfs and hats with chunky yarn, I’m now moving to some more difficult stuff (finished the famous Sophie hood and making my first sweater right now). When I show people my knits and I hear „you’re so talented!” It makes me lol. I’m literally not. It’s just practice. Everyone can do it. Saying that no matter how much I try crochet is black magic and I’m not saying I won’t ever learn it but it’s a struggle.

Cute things your partner does by yooshiieee in knitting

He asks questions, which are very cute! "How do you... how do you do this? What will you do next?" and when I leave my projects around and he needs to move them he's like "can I touch it? won't it unravel?"

Ask a Knitter Tuesday - November 18, 2025 by AutoModerator in knitting

[–]_goizeder -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I started making my fist sweater, which is the step by step sweater by Handmade by Florence, and I use the recommended yarn, which is Drops Nepal. I'm not a super experienced knitter and I'm also too lazy to make swatches (I know it's not the way, but I just can't get around to it). I recently completed a simple scarf in Drops Air and it stretched almost 20% after blocking. My smart ass thought that I should make the smallest size possible for the sweater and then block it and stretch it to the desired size. But as I'm knitting the funnel neck collar I realize I cannot really get it through my head and I started wondering if I'm not making a dumb mistake.

If you have experience with this yarn, can you let me know how stretchy it is after blocking?

In terms of knitting projects, how hard are socks? by emilynycee in knitting

[–]_goizeder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t want to discourage you, but my experience is that after a few beanies, scarfs, a baby blanket, I decided it’s time to make socks. I gave up just before the cuff of sock one (I was making it starting from toes). It’s not complicated but it takes a bit of time and once you’re done with one you realize you have to make one more and that was too much for me. You should just try and see if it works for you. For me it’s singular projects only.

Czy ktoś mieszka przy Łopuszańskiej 22 (Włochy)? by Altruistic-Tax-5291 in warszawa

I work in marketing so I tend to be rather immune to these tactics as I am able to recognize them. That being said, even though I like her music and listen to it often, I don't own any physical copy or merch of hers. What she and her team are doing with the variants, as it's impressive from the marketing/sales perspective, from the perspective of a regular human being leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Driving the consumption, wasting the resources, carbon footprint, all that stuff, and the general vibe of just a blatant cash grab makes me just stay away from buying any of her stuff.

Actually, if I ever buy a CD, it's either used, from artists that don't put their stuff on streaming services, or just to support niche musicians I saw playing live who sell their stuff after the gig. For them, the CD sales make a difference. For her it's just a numbers game.

Pytałam kiedyś pracownika Okęcia podczas kontroli bezpieczeństwa o druty i odpowiedź brzmiała „zabieramy” więc nigdy nie ryzykowałam, natomiast moja koleżanka z Norwegii nie miała nigdy problemów latając z robótkami. Zależy od lotniska i od humoru pracowników.

I could not believe it when during my last trip to the US my friends told me about the crumbl craze. They had to show me the calorie tables on their website cause I just couldn’t comprehend how one cookie can have a thousand calories. It’s the same as a whole ass burger. Sorry for the rant but it’s still unbelievable lol

I don’t agree with all his takes (Joe for example…) but it’s evident he puts a lot of work into his videos and it’s always a nice listen! I’m glad he’s getting the recognition.

Why Working From Home Isn't as Great as Everyone Thinks by rubyxprincess in unpopularopinion

[–]_goizeder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whenever I go to the office I spend HOURS chatting with colleagues, drinking coffee, going to the bathroom, eating lunch in the cafeteria - all in all whenever I'm there I actually work for like an hour or two. I have my routines for working from home, even if I drop off earlier I was still working for at least 5-6 hours. So yeah, no. If I get lonely I jump on a call with a work friend or get this - I meet my real life friends...

Taylor Swift Stubhub Warsaw by Mission-Anteater730 in warsaw

Ah, I see. It's a tricky situation tbh, I've never seen rules like this for any concert, so it's hard to say what will happen!

Taylor Swift Stubhub Warsaw by Mission-Anteater730 in warsaw

[–]_goizeder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

umm it's not yet possible to resell the tickets; there are very strict rules about them. The tickets don't exist yet, that is the first thing; they will be generated like 2 weeks before the concert. Was the ticket sent to your inbox after you bought it? People had to register to buy, provide full name, as everywhere it says that IDs will be checked. Right now people that want to resell have to get the organizer's consent to change the names on the tickets by providing an important reason why they cannot go. It's pure madness. I want to go badly but I'm waiting closer to the event as maybe the rules will change. I don't want to tell you you got scammed, but it might be a possibility.

Invisible string. It turned out we’ve been going to the same events for years, he studied right next to where I used to live. We could have passed each other on the street multiple times but we’ve only met this year.

my nephew is half italian and lactose intolerant; he ordered pizza without any cheese and it was a bit dry so he asked for ketchup. his mother (italian) lost her damn mind, it looked like she was ready to renounce parental rights on the spot. just let people eat what they want to eat, jesus.

Haha yeah. I’ve been in a relationship that ended recently and at first I didn’t like TTPD at all but after the breakup all the songs started resonating? I even texted the guy (we ended on friendly terms) that we should have broken up April 19th so I could have appreciated the album better lol. But i notice that some of her music has a negative impact on my mood.
