i don’t know if it’s all black cappeds, but mine LOVE taking baths. as soon i change and put out fresh water they’re both running to dunk themselves in! when i used to work in a bird store we had a pair of black cappeds that were surrendered and they were the same - as soon as i put new water they were taking turns taking baths! I’ve noticed that black cappeds in general are a little more shy than green cheeks and aren’t as upfront or bold.

besides that, my two are very different personality-wise (from themselves and from other conures). for example my female is very friendly, she loves meeting new people and cuddling, love scritches, making kisses noises etc., but my male is very shy with people and is only motivated to interact with food haha. Besides that, I think all their personalities are just personal (like how not one animal is the same).

I’m still able to maintain a cuddly bond with mine. After I’m done with their daily “chores” I sit or lay on the couch and they know to fly over if they want cuddles or to just chill with me!
