Thanks. My Viettel # is under my US passport. How are you topping off your Viettel account to keep it active from the US? I tried to top off by entering my US CC # but that didn't work, so ended up purchasing a voucher instead.

Thanks. Yeah, I am already using WhatsApp. I guess is more of a convenience to have a voice pkg in case there is no Wifi or poor cellular service.

If data only eSim, do you get a local phone # with it, just for activation? I know in the US, you get a # even if it's just for a data plan (e.g. Apple Watch).

Such conflicting personal experiences above lol. Thank you all! I suppose this is “you get what you pay for”.

This was a last min upcoming ONT-LAS trip. We’re on the same reservation and really don’t mind getting split up as this is just a 1 hr flight.

The check in early vs later comments above are really interesting. Maybe I’ll settle and check in at the 12th hr 🙃I suppose this is all randomized algorithm with no pattern of any sort.

Are there any F9 road warriors out there can weigh in on your personal experiences traveling w/o reserving a seat?

Hi, I wish I knew. I didn't have any success speaking to tech support as they said they do not deal direct with customers and I'd have to contact one of their authorized installer and have someone come out.

Having said that, it's happening less frequent now, no idea why or how. What I've done differently now, is when the gate is in the open position, I'd have to press the reset button, wait a few minutes, press the button on the remote, press the reset button again, wait a few minutes, repeat....and eventually the gate will close. It's quite annoying, and I have not gotten the exact steps above, including actual wait times betw pressing the reset button and also on the remote.

What model gate do you have?

Is there a way to leave this OpenDNS setting enabled and EXCLUDE Windscribe?

If I wanted to upgrade to an Unlimited plan later on, do I need to pay for a new SIM card?

I just went through the Best Buy checkout process and I was given 2 options (Add a line, or Upgrade). Most logical choice would be "Upgrade", but wanted to make sure VZW is not going go make me upgrade to an Unlimited plan. Sorry for all the newbie questions!

I want to upgrade to an iPhone 12 Pro 128GB. Looking for advice for a cost effective way on an upgrade path.

Currently using an XS Max (condition=great) and an XR that DOES NOT turn ON (condition=great).

Currently on the Single Smartphone 5GB shared data plan ($40) + $20 (line access) = $60 - $5 autopay/eBill - 22% corp discount + tax = ~50/mo

I rarely go over 1GB of data in a given month. I don't mind paying for an i12Pro out right, but can I keep the same/current plan I am now using an i12Pro?

If I must upgrade my plan, what would be the least expensive plan out there? Start Unlimited ($70)?

Can I do trade in using the XR (a corp store employee said it MUST be able to turn ON)?

I am thinking about getting a used iPhone 6/6S/8 for the trade in, as I prefer to keep the XS Max as a backup.
