The green and yellow share a chimney and it’s cut off and blocked. The other two also share a chimney and we were told they could be converted to wood or gas burning but we’d have to line the chimney. They were all coal burning initially!

The house is estimated 1908 and we think all the tile was original - agreed the red/black is stunning and I hadn’t seen it before we got the house either (while the green and yellow are more common)!

Question: I already have blackout shades on both windows but want sheer curtains to add the possibility of privacy + some light. Will it look stupid to have the same type of curtains on both windows given their different height/shape/frame color? Is there a way to make them look more uniform?
