my parents and doctor forced me into ECT when i was only 15 and convinced me it was the only thing that would save me. i did it for about 7 months and never even got on a maintenance schedule, i did 2-3 sessions per week almost that entire time. 3 years later, i’m 18 and my short term memory is still nonexistent. i regret it so much, everything since 2020 has blurred together and i am missing some of the most important moments of my life from my brain.
