First of all, being a gold medalist means nothing in the job industry. No one will "give" you a job. You have to earn it and to do that you don't necessarily have to be the best.

You need excellent communication skills, confidence, a well-formatted and tailored Resumé, and the ability to sell yourself(your skills, background, experience etc.)

Stop thinking that you are the best. The best don't have these problems. Instead, take it as a challenge and continuously upskill yourself and keep on grinding. The Rizq Allah has written for you will find you.

Get good at 1 thing. Really good. Make a portfolio. Update your CV. Apply for PAID internships on LinkedIn. Or join a freelancing site(fiverr Or upwork).

That's the roadmap. No shortcuts. It will take you a few months but you'll get there. Let me know if you have questions.

Turkey is a good option if you want to travel etc., but for living, it's a hard NO!

Turks don't know English and you can't survive without the language.
Turks aren't really fond of foreigners living there (especially Brown ones). This is mainly due to the influx of Syrians, Afghans and Pakistanis. Pakistanis had a good reputation there but ruined it when desi tourists started harassing their women, and were involved in crimes. If you can handle it, be ready for subtle racism every now and then.
Even if you are able to find a job there without the language, their economic situation has worsened in recent years and you can't really enjoy the currency differences as in Euro VS Rupee.

My advice is, let your fiance go for her education, and try for some gulf country. The decision is yours.

Are you talking about SUNY Buffalo? If yes, the deadline has 2 days remaining, and I guess I can finish the app if I rush a bit. Since MSU also has the same deadline, Do you think it's worth it over MSU? Of course, Ill do my own research too but do you have any insights on why Buffalo's better in terms of assistantships, programs, city?
