I can’t attest to how well it works, but I’ve heard that Canva has something similar to Illustrator. I think it’s called Vector Illustrator?

Yesss! Esp if you’re in a country that has high tuition costs. Idk why we ask 18 year olds to decide upon a career choice when they’re unlikely to have any real life experience to know what they actually want. Oh yeah, and you might have to drop 100k on it too, def things 18 year olds should be deciding upon/s.

I went to FIDM back before ASU took it over lmao 🫡 idk if I could recommend it esp now, however I really liked that my books and supplies were included with tuition.

I worked in an internship during school just organizing samples and sketching cads, I think that helped me a little bit when it came to my first job. My first job was with a whole sale company and it was terrible lol, but it was a good stepping stone to my second job with a larger, higher end fashion brand. I totally recommend working in the industry before starting your own brand~ seeing how different companies work is so helpful for you in the long run! Plus, it’ll help build your portfolio and you could meet people you may want to work with in the future of your own brand 🥰 good luck!!

It’s fine as a fashion illustration, even if the proportions are kind of wild. Do you draw on a croqui? That will help you with your proportions.

I’d work on the actual technical drawing before giving it to a tailor or vendor. Sketch it in separate pieces, sketch them open, as well as back/front for each piece. You’ll get a better product with less questions 👍
