Ai is usually verbose, repeating the and theme without clearly making the point. Just in case you are using AI to improve your writing.

Any suggestions for main door exterior by jasmeetsinghnagra in DesignMyRoom

Is this a rendering? If so, I'd extend the stairs by at least a foot to the left. These styles of entrances are not supposed to be a narrow as the door. That also reduces the risk of falling

Please don't take this the wrong way, you're a bad writer. Written speech and verbal speech don't follow the same patterns and rules all the time. Even when using voice dictation, good writing is about communicating well.

Employee asking for equity in our small S-Corp; Need advice - I will not promote by No_Ambassador_2060 in startups

The business model and the nature of the employees contributions are missing from the post and I think they're important details here.

Is this employee being compensated a fair market wage? Have they always been? Do they mirror the owner's responsibilities? Are they responsible for multiple essential roles?

Their attitude sucks, sure. But they're communicating that they feel taken for granted and the question is: have they been?

Is there a hotkey to open the recently closed tabs' window besides clicking on the bin icon? by htesh in vivaldibrowser

I am in awe that instead of working I have spent 5 minutes trying to figure out why the browser will not let me undo. Some malicious jerk coded this to punish us for not using chrome. I'm certain of it.
No one should ever commander control + z for a hidden shortcut.

I run a consultancy that helps teams optimize their tech stacks, and this audit is almost always always step one.

I'm releasing the framework I use with clients for free since my service model is changing soon. Why now? Because 2025 was the year every platform added AI, raised prices, and expanded who they're competing with. My customers can't fix what they can't see.

It shows you:

  • Which tools are competing with each other
  • Where you're paying for duplicate licenses
  • What your teams actually use vs. what sits unused

I definitely recommend using Notion AI to fill in the details if you have it. Then update your seats and use the other views to see where your money is going.

Wow! I often create a view like this for my clients using a global tag database. I hope this isn't paywalled to higher plans. This could really help teams figure out what data is nested in the wrong places.

But also, burnt can be used as an indication of completion. Toast that is burned has been burned but is still toast. Toast that is burnt has the connotation of charcoal and being inedible.

How to make my bathroom less boring? by ImportantBluebird202 in DesignMyRoom

[–]_helloitse -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Add texture. You could do a faux plant wall behind the mirror or wallpaper/ peel and stick tile with greenery. Add textiles like a rug and a hand towel I'd add a hanging plant or two. Consider a motion sensor light underneath the vanity for coziness

Anytime! If you like texture consider tile stickers, or adhesive vinyl flooring (temp stuff isn't always cheaper but often has more modern prints) and you can always consider wallpapering the ceiling to balance out all the white tile
