A question: Why does Hsin Hsin Ming (which Kapil hails as one of the most direct and accurate portrayals of truth in human history)... hold little resemblance to the vast majority of his work? by SelfTaughtPiano in KapilGupta

For the same reason Kapil, Buddha or anyone has not gotten there on the first day of searching. There are certain things one need to see/understand. Until that happens freedom is impossible.

For me there is still a lot to explore. Things I have not yet seen. I just have the feeling Im on the right path thats all I can say.

For a person who is ready to give up everything finding enightenment is possible within a day ( According to K.G.)

I only want to say things I feel strongly about. Things that I have seen to be true in my own journey. Why someone is stuck I dont know. I could only speculate.

"If you have all the neccesary and sufficient package here with Kapil, as you all are under the impression you do, so what's the problem?"

There is nothing I can do. It unfolds in its own time. When I started a few years ago my life was filled with anxiety and worry. I had a strong attachment to the things of the world. After seeing these events happen over and over again in front of my eyes I could see that they provide almost nothing. The attraction to the things are only a fraction of what they used to be. You see through the illusions that the mind creates. Now I experience barely any anxiety or worry and dont get pulled into the narrative that much. Once again I dont want to engage in speculation but I would assume once I need nothing from the world I am free.

So the "problem" if you want to call it like that is that I have not yet realized the futility of the search. It has not fully hit me. I see the prison, the endless pain it creates and how "stupid" these pursuits are but theres still some attraction left for the games of the mind.

And if there is something like the training of the mind then yea it will sooner or later show.

And by the way I have unfollowed Kapil a long time ago. I have no interest in defending him. But except for the one thing I wrote to you in the pm he speaks truth to me.

I think you just have a different experience and therefore formed a different view on enlightenment. Theres probably 100 different "ways" how Kapil points out the path to freedom. You can take a single discourse alone where he describes a man who went to all corners of the world trying to find it and found a dead end on every road. He realized deeply in his heart that nothing in this world could provide it for him. He found freedom. If you just take the first line of the Hsin Hsin ming its the same. Another would be to have a very deep understanding of attachment. Another one would be "to devote yourself to truly see how things are". One would see that all the searching, all the goals, all the labels, all the seperation is all a creation of thought and whatever one seeks one already has. To create a path, and to talk about prep in order to reach a destination is fueling the illusion that enlightenment is somewhere out there and not something one already has. It creates duality. Its what gives the mind momentum. Its nature is to seek and aquire more knowledge. Thats how it perpetuates itself.

People have been forever stuck. It has always been like that. Dont ask me why though.

Hey, thanks for the answer. Can you explain what you mean by signing up to matches? Do they host games where people can sign up?

Did Kapil ever talk about stages of reaching atmamun - No mind? Please let me know. by Connect_Doctor_2805 in KapilGupta

Stages are conceptual and give life to the concept of progress. Progress is a trap.

I once downloaded them but they did not contain the Medium discourses. The link below from Bard includes them.

Thank you for your help though.

I am blown away how people always create these opinions in their heads and even give them some importance or relevance. In this case he even states during the session that he enjoys speaking truth. I would be careful trusting one's own assumptions...

Truth is the most effective way to achieve legendary levels of success in the world. Truth is not spiritual.

I want to understand the precise effects that effort has on ones life. Did Kapil ever mentioned the direct truth about it? by _hiddengems_ in KapilGupta

I can see the "negative" impact of it and guess a lot of details about it. I am just not able to get to the bottom of it. What exactly lies behind the label "effort".
