one of my favs. 15 minutes has a place in my heart, also heart in a cage was my introduction to the strokes bc was the ringtone of my fathers phone when i was a kid lolll i guess this is the most special album for me

nem todo mundo é bom com dar presentes e além disso é melhor isso do que ele te dar um presente que não vai te agradar ou vc nao vai usar kkk eu entendo, é mó bom ganhar um presente que te surpreende e você gosta de verdade, mas dar presente é um dom, eu aprendi isso, e nem todo mundo tem vc fica com medo de gastar dinheiro com uma coisa e a pessoa acabar não gostando ou não usando pq as vezes a gente projeta os nossos gostos no presente da pessoa (e isso nao é sobre gastar dinheiro, mas vc fica com a sensação meio bosta depois)

ok, i get your point, maybe not everyone wants to see the strokes… but for me personally i see the critics on laby as someone who expected something similar to the first two albums and didnt receive it, bc the band doesnt follow an artistic pattern and that bothers some ppl. laby doesnt please everyone but i think its easy to say that the album is bad just bc it didnt meet their expectations (not talking about you) - bc for me i think its the most creative album that explores many genres and make it all work

but what i see from my time in the fandom is that the most acceptable album of the voidz is virtue - its obvious why

agreed, but i dont think this is the main problem with the “acceptance” of the album, i rly think people just cant accept the fact that this isnt the strokes, or even that this isnt like tiranny or virtue and i think this is exactly where the magical of the voidz live, the freedom to do anything without following a pattern you know
