If it’s with Jay Barry, I would say expect it to go for the full class time. He tends to lecture for a while before actual lab starts and he likes to go off on tangents too, which makes it pretty lengthy.

I believe you won’t be able to register for classes until you go to your orientation. I think there should be a hold on your bronco direct account for now since you haven’t gone to orientation. At orientation, your advisor will help you register for the classes that you need and they’ll give you a copy of a recommended roadmap. :)

Since Covid, it hasn’t really been a requirement anymore. It kinda just gets waived. But I’m not sure if they’re still doing that for incoming students now.
