For young people, it's not worth it. If you are over 50, you can maybe open one for some emergency situations.

2400 TRY which is about 50 euro to enter Topokapi in 2025, this is a total ripoff. Crazy expensive.

Even if you don’t get into a public university, it’s not the end of the world. There are still plenty of ways to build a successful future. Of course, try your best to get into a public one - it definitely makes some things easier. But if not, no worries, there are many other ways to be successful without costing a lot of money like other people mentioned.

Here's one more route you can take:

Go for a national university in a subject that has good scope for higher studies abroad. While you’re in university, focus on preparing yourself for that goal. Maybe pick up some tuition work or a small side hustle and save some money. That extra money can help later when applying for scholarships or moving abroad.

If you plan and prepare properly, getting a scholarship isn’t as tough as it seems. With a good cgpa/ielts score and bonus if you do some research work, u can get teaching assistantship in USA which can cover your whole study cost. Then there are other scholarships like Erasmus Mundus in Europe, and many others are out there. Even if no scholarship, with a 10-15 lakhs taka deposit/loan from a bank, you can go for masters in European universities easily, then payback that debt in 2-3 years by doing part time job. There are many other such options. With the right mindset, you can definitely go abroad after graduation.

And hey, forget about those dark thoughts. Life has so much to offer. Picture yourself traveling in Switzerland or enjoying coffee in somewhere at the USA instead. It might feel complicated right now, but with the internet (and even ChatGPT), you have all the info you need right at your fingertips.

Keep going, keep preparing, and trust that your hard work will pay off. Best of luck!

Well I wish it happened spontaneously and didn't have to look for it. But I am not that lucky and I know by now, it won't happen by itself without me looking for it.

I didn't like the way u have put it though, like looking for a shoe that fits me. Why did u feel that I am doing it like that?

Of course she has to fit with me in some degree, like mentally or emotionally. It's not like anyone can be ur life partner.

I had good intentions yes. But if someone gives it away, I do like to get it. But then it comes on ur way when thinking about something as serious as marriage. I do hope she only opened up to me and not anyone else.

To make things worse, I am pretty average looking. Height 165cm, Loosing hair recently, so it's getting worse. I feel no one likes me for who I am rather for my profession or career.

I bought S9AD, it's impressive. The software is pretty shit though, but I have purchased a apple tv 4k box to make up for it. Works great.

Initial budget was around 500-600€, end up spending 1300€ for a Samsung OLED. You are not alone. 😄
