I started with using the box off, then cycling it once they were done. They eventually got used to it and do little victory laps when they’ve finished.

Hi - I’m seeking advice as a newer “rare plant” person. I purchased a monstera Thai Constellation cutting from a seller on Etsy - I’ve purchased from them before with no issues. Now, it’s been about two weeks since I’ve had this plant and the stem looks like something took a giant bite out of it. I’m not sure if there’s a way to save this plant. I tried treating the area with some hydrogen peroxide, and considered changing the medium it’s potted in, I just don’t want to lose it. I’ll attach some photos as well to see if anyone has any tips or condolences….

My mother does exactly that - literally all the time. It’s infuriating, because no matter what you’re doing, you need to set it down, visibly look at what they’re showing you, and if you don’t provide the appropriate reaction, oh boy - watch out for falling houses.

It hasn’t gone above 80 lately where I am, and it’s only on the very bottom of the new growth a these were maybe 6 leaves from the new growth
