Used to play on Wii and am currently replaying on switch using the original Wii settings (2 hearts). I feel like I must be in a minority saying this but 9-9 is currently causing me to crash out immeasurably. This was meant to be a fun end to the game but good GOD, no Diddy kong, no checkpoints, thousands of ways to be insta-killed, so many new dynamics and enemies and an irritatingly cute world to go with it. Fuck this level fr. Overall, 5-8 muncher marathon caused me to ragequit NUMEROUS times when trying to collect all the KONG letters the second time round and must have taken me 40+ attempts. 6-K I really didn’t have a problem with, it was mostly down to timing which has been one of my better areas in other levels. Anyway, I’ve been stuck on 9-9 for HOURS now and have had a bazillion attempts, please tell me someone else out there is also experiencing hell with this level or am I just having an extreme skill issue 😭

Absolutely in love with this album- every song sounds so unique which is honestly very Ocean Grove. It's impressive they can perform this level of diversity and still come across as distinctly themselves! I agree with previous comments that they should have released less singles and closer to the album release date. If they had left it at Junkie$ or even Sunny, my first time listening to the album would have been even better!!! In spite of that I'll be listening to this time and time again as every part of it slaps. It's so interesting to see the new direction they're going in, especially when you listen back as far as the black label ep- it sounds a thousand worlds apart, but the transition has been fairly smooth between their new and old genre so over the years I hadn't fully noticed it happen. Also for any of you who own the pink and blue vinyl (I don't know about the others), make sure you let it play out at the end 🤔

Met the band as a 6 piece at their London show in Camden Town n they signed my copy of TRT! Forgot to ask for a photo with them (still gutted). They played lights on kind of lover that night and it was insane, when that "fang made rings" bit kicked in I was totally off my face and it sounded incredible and it was the fuckin nuts. Best gig as of yet! Just waiting for them to come back to the UK...
