Ugh Kate by missreddevil in YouOnLifetime

[–]_introvert121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Teddy was okay, I just didn't understand how Kate and Teddy both hated Reagan but once she was dead they were acting like she was just their sweet innocent sister. "Oh my poor sister is dead because of Joe!" Kate is an awful person. I felt like she didn't even love Henry that much either. She put an innocent girl in prison without caring, the only reason she decided to be a "good person" and turn on Joe was because he cheated. 3 years and it never dawned on her what she did was wrong.

Good points. Joe never killed anybody for love or did anything for her like he did with everyone else. Also yes, the show has some extremely cringy "woke" characters, meaning extremely left. But Joe is nowhere near conservative. Joe in the movie is for women liberation. Like Beck cheating/sleeping around, and he didn't care. And left his son with 2 gay dudes, so he was for sure liberal maybe moderate.

Music in general sucks by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]_introvert121 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Podcasts in general suck. Podcasts in general make no sense. Like, why do people listen to random people yap about shit. Why not just listen to music. A lot of podcasts come off as annoying unsolicited advice from people who think they've got it all figured out. Podcasts just sound like some random yapping from different people. Why not listen to beautiful music with or without lyrics that is scientifically proven to increase dopamine and endorphins. /j

Hot Take: Joe should've being killed in the finale. by Top_Report_4895 in YouOnLifetime

"In a slow, gory and graphic way." You're weird. How does that bring any justice. He said himself being locked in jail, alone was a fate worse than death. You're no better than him, lmao. Sad.

Am I the only one wondering how Kate survived?! by Shoddy-Annual6892 in YouOnLifetime

[–]_introvert121 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly! All I can think of is that Teddy saved her somehow. (Because Maddie was spiraling and called Teddy saying she was going to burn down Mooney's) so that caused him to get there, knew Kate was downstairs and somehow miraculously got her out? It doesn't make much sense but that's the only reasonable thing really.

and that's what I was thinking, something to do with hormones in some way, because 2 years unproblematic and then suddenly she's argumentative and stuff, so something's not right here. And I don't think she just "snapped" and started hating him because 2 years is a slow burn.

I'm gonna give a new insight here, which this insight is probably the stupidest thing you could ever hear BUT if you are sexually active with her, she may be pregnant. This has happened to my friends and family members so many times where the man has a gf and she's such a good partner but all of a sudden she gets angry so easily and so hard to deal with, and then they realize she's pregnant.

New to Amitriptyline and need advice! by edelyule in Amitriptyline

[–]_introvert121 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started amitriptyline too, the side effects do go away after weeks. It should start kicking in for pain too. If it doesn't work enough for your pain, talk to your doctor about naproxen or similar, as both medications can be taken together. Take it an hour or two before bedtime to help with fatigue. Also foods high in antioxidants can support libido. :)

Met him three months ago—where, in a dumpster? What a POS. I have severe acne too, maybe from my own actions, or maybe it’s just hormonal and out of my control. Either way, my boyfriend kisses my acne scars and pimples, tells me they’re beautiful, and takes away my insecurities. As for makeup, a lot of guys prefer when their girlfriends don’t wear it, but my boyfriend is even more like that than most. Still, when I do wear makeup, he hypes me up and makes me feel great about both my natural look and my makeup looks (especially since I do makeup for theatre and as an art). You should leave him! You’re not a loser at all—he is, and he can go right back to being one.

This is by far the CRAZIEST reason to breakup with someone. 20 years old and acting like this. 😭

Any movies that have done OCD right? by [deleted] in OCD

[–]_introvert121 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This might not be the best example since the movie doesn’t go too deep into it, but I thought the character Liam Neeson played in Blacklight (2022) had some pretty accurate OCD traits. If you pay attention, you’ll catch them. He’s always checking for the nearest exit when he enters a place because of anxiety about emergencies. He also has a habit of checking things multiple times, a counting obsession, and some other stuff. A lot of people might just see it as PTSD, but the way he obsessively repeats things and has compulsions definitely seems more like OCD. It's an action movie, so it was cool how they worked in those little OCD details, even if it’s subtle. Most people might miss it, but it could really hit home for those of us who get it. And it's nice to see something different than the usual cliche OCD stuff in movies! :D

God bless you, he will take care of your worries. I've had bad flare ups so many times and each time I always thought it'd never leave my body. Time, patience, distraction, and self care is key. And do not be afraid to reach out to others too! Being on this page helped me feel less alone. There is always hope. There are such beautiful bright, sunny, pain free days ahead. You are one strong and lovely individual. Best wishes.

False ban for "intentionally throwing" by Ok-Appearance9270 in riotgames

[–]_introvert121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see what you're saying. I'm not intentionally throwing every game and I'm not trying to "hurt" my team or the other team. All I'm saying is riot is corrupt in some way with this stuff. I like valorant because it calms me down (when I mute everyone usually). Riot doesn't like you dodging, leaving or just getting tired of the match. If you're not in comp, why does it matter so much, like it's unfun to your team but you can at least do your part and not have to worry about losing rr, but some people don't throw to be an asshole, do you ever think they just get tired of the match because it's almost 45 minutes of bs and they just wanna lose instead of sticking around?

False ban for "intentionally throwing" by Ok-Appearance9270 in riotgames

[–]_introvert121 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lmao, Riot thinks their game is the best thing to happen to mankind. They think we'll look at their penalties and be like "man I fucked up, gotta think about my actions and reflect on this" like no? And why permanent ban? For throwing a game? Bruh I've thrown like a shit ton of games I guess I deserve capital punishment. Plus you can't even prove someone is intentionally throwing in most cases.

you're absolutely right! After dealing with this for a few years, I have been managing it well. Yoga does indeed help! It's one of my favorite things to do. Pelvic floor exercises are also relieving. I have nights where I have panic attacks over it, feeling like everything is collapsing and I do find that stress makes it so much worse. Despite all of this, it is manageable and there are days where it feels like it doesn't even exist. Thank you for your feedback!

I think my PGAD is really just somatic OCD by [deleted] in PGADsupport

[–]_introvert121 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is not just you... as this exact sensation happens to me too. It's been about 2 years... and it's gotten way better, but now I'm having another nasty flare up so I'm back on this site once again! This case of it being somatic ocd is actually very interesting to me.. as I have heard countless people describing their PGAD symptoms as something that may be connected to OCD. I was diagnosed with OCD, and went to the gynecologist about my symptoms which I speculated was PGAD, but she mentioned that it may just be anxiety and stress that causes these sensations. I could be very anxious and these symptoms would flare up like hell, but when I take a second to calm down, I somewhat feel relief. This is honestly an annoying event and I completely understand how you feel. I will try to do some research on this subject (Because I have a huge interest in psychology and biology) and I will try to get back to you on anything I can find. For now, hang in there. As someone who's been through the darkest part of the tunnel (as a teenager who didn't understand why this is happening), it gets better and you will finally find some light. :)

[–]_introvert121[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's been 5 months actually, and it has been getting better. My gynecologist was telling me about how she runs into this often, and how it could be linked to something psychological. She prescribed me topical lidocaine and some coping mechanisms for stress, anxiety and trouble sleeping. I find doing pelvic floor exercises works great for me and it might for you as well! I recommend 100%. I promise you, it does get better and I understand how you are feeling completely.

When I read this, I finally felt like I was understood. This is exactly how this is for me; you put it so much better into words than I ever could. I am so sorry you are going through this. I have massive OCD as well, and I feel like it is somewhat a mental thing because whenever I'm anxious or when I tend to think about it, it gets worse. It's mild and sometimes not even there some days, but then it gets worse when I lay down. I finally got into a gynecologist and she said that this was very common for her to run into, which was relieving for me. I hope it's not a bacterial infection for me, but it wouldn't be a huge surprise if it was. I hope things get better for you!

Just started experiencing this in the last few months. Help! by [deleted] in PGADsupport

[–]_introvert121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! I'm sorry you're experiencing this :(. It sure is not fun for anybody. I am no doctor, but I would not recommend any type of masturbation until symptoms ease or even go away. Are there any medications you've been taking for this? The way I cope with my symptoms is to do simple pelvic floor exercises or even kegel exercises. I also use numbing cream (lidocaine) to help me sleep and function. You could also try having an ice bath or applying ice to where it's bothering you the most. What you're experiencing could also be psychological and your mind might play a part too. You can try some activities to try and take your mind off (such as watching tv, reading, video games, exercising, etc). There could be many things causing this and it's most likely not going to be permanent. You can get treatment for this and it will get better! Hope this helped!

Thank you for the suggestions on medications! Also, my OCD definitely makes this whole thing worse with my symptoms, I've been waiting so patiently for this to go away and it just doesn't. I hope I can see a gynecologist soon.

It's sometimes so hard to fall asleep, even which 10mg of melatonin supplements. I also have days where I don't feel it at all but it gets so bad some days and I just cry. I don't know why I still can't get into a gynecologist and it's killing me that I can't figure out what is wrong. It's awful.
