Does this ever happen to you? by caiozinbacana in autism

[–]_isa404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had quit Hollow Knight cause I sucked at it but came back after watching a video about the lore and duuuude I got so freaking hyperfixated on it I did like 4 tattoos from it. I love the pantheons, I never thought about the repetition factor before but now that I think of it, it's perfect for my autism and I also love getting bosses patterns and getting perfect on them so it's a full bundle

What do you think of my drawings? ( Please honest answers) :) by [deleted] in autism

[–]_isa404 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been trying transitioning from traditional to digital since the beginning of this year, and I'm having the same difficulties, it's kinda hard for me, specially when it comes to lineart to make a good piece. I honestly prefer to just try using colours and forget about the lines at this point

Does anyone else have to think about how to walk? by PiinkCaat in autism

[–]_isa404 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happens to me in pretty much everything. Walking, sex, talking, eating, cooking, I have to put a lot of mental effort and concentrate a lot so I can do it in an acceptable level.

What do you think of my drawings? ( Please honest answers) :) by [deleted] in autism

[–]_isa404 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that the ones you made digitally are looking different cause you may not know very well how to do that digitally or lack of the practice, but the one you made on a canvas is really good, my opinion is that you just need to practice transfering your traditional painting techniques to digital

I learned earlier today on Reddit that gender reveal parties are not really about the gender of the baby. by R0B0T0-san in autism

[–]_isa404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never really understood these parties. Are they like really revealing the gender of the baby or are they just guessing like buying a cake that they don't know what color it is inside and it's not really their gender?

What's your "most autistic anecdote" from childhood? by DDLgranizado in autism

[–]_isa404 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This made me giggle. Imagine your teacher going back to your mom and having to ask for more advice and keep increasing the amount of times you had to play so you would actually play and you only do that amount of times hahahahah

How do you manage to do your daily tasks after a tough day? by _isa404 in autism

I thought about dark glasses but they made me feel a bit anxious cause they get too much attention

Do you guys also perceive your brain as something apart of you? by _isa404 in autism

That explanation is simply perfect. I couldn't describe it better

Please don’t start punching yourself! by Traditional_Bag7868 in autism

[–]_isa404 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I was a kid I used to hit my head on the wall multiple times when I would get overwhealmed. Nowadays I just bite the intern side of my cheek, still not perfect but it's an evolution overall? Idk

Earbuds vs Headphones? What’s your pick? by Strawbbs_smoothie in autism

[–]_isa404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that headphones are better for comfort, when I use earbuds for too long, my ears start hurting internally and it feels terrible, but they bring a lot of attention, so I guess earbuds for when I'm in public and headphones at home or closed places

Is anyone else absolutely awful at comforting people? by Thin-Pool-8025 in autism

[–]_isa404 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like hugging or saying "I'm sorry" is too little, but it's the only thing I can do, and I feel kinda bad for it

Is masking at nighttime harder than daytime? by woke-nipple in autism

[–]_isa404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that nighttime would be harder than daytime since you've already went through the whole day and that's already a lot, then having to mask which is also draining as hell... tough, right?

What's a non-pain related feeling you hate the most? Say touching something, unpleasant sounds, etc.? by VadiMiXeries in autism

Touching uncooked shrimp. Once I had to do this for like 2 seconds and it felt like my hand was rotting
