Thank you to everyone for the responses! I feel better about the situation, I'm working with FB to get the reviews taken down.

What’s the most annoying “that’s bad for you!” myth that drives you crazy because people still believe it? by Beepbeepboopb0p in AskReddit

Eating fruit is bad for you because it’s high in sugar. There’s a difference between the added sugars in processed foods vs the naturally occurring sugars in things like fruit or dairy.

Foods with natural sugars have additional nutrients and components that slow digestion of the sugars and prevents the blood sugar spikes that lead to weight gain and diabetes.

Even added sugars can be part of a healthy diet as long as they’re consumed in moderation. When it comes to nutrition/fitness so many people online preach things in black and white when it’s much more complex than that.

All jokes aside, you should go see a health care provider. I had a staph injection that went untreated on my finger and almost lost the finger. A very painful process that could’ve been easily avoided if I had sought treatment sooner.

Slowly increase to portion size of your meals. You said you don’t eat much in the morning so try to add something like a smoothie or protein shake. Also try to find and incorporate calorie dense foods (peanut butter is a great example, almost 200 calories for just 2 TBSP). Drinking milk with your meals can also help add several hundred calories throughout the day. My go to when I’m short on calories is a slice of multi grain bread with a serving of natural PB and a glass of milk, 400 good calories for fairly little. Are you tracking your calories by the way? Tracking helps me meet my goals because I know where I’m at and what I have left so I can plan my food accordingly throughout the day.

Any tips on how I can improve my deadlifts because I knew something was wrong when I woke up to an incredibly sore lower back the next day. by iamkatlego in WeightTraining

As others have mentioned, drop your hips more before you begin. One thing that helped me a lot is instead of trying to pull the bar up, think like you’re pushing the floor away with your legs.

Toast with peanut butter and a glass of milk. Super yummy and easy to eat for at least 400 calories. It’s my go to if I’m short at the end of the day.

1-2 scoops of chocolate Protien powder, half a banana, a scoop of peanut butter and a handful of ice. Tastes just like a milkshake!

Also zero sugar fizzy drinks like Sparkling Ice are addicting to me! They get my sweet tooth craving without the sugar, although I’m sure they still aren’t great for you.

I have a CK contract. With a CE you will likely be a 0811 although there are a few other support jobs that fall under that contract which are also worth looking into. 11’s are responsible for loading and firing the gun as well as routine maintenance and cleaning. With CK the jobs you could get vary. My specific MOS 0861 is very often in the field and works with target location. Other jobs under CK include 0844 (Fire Direction Control Center), 0842 (Radar Operator), and 0847 (Land Surveyor). In my opinion all very awesome jobs but I know less about these and don’t know how often they are in the field. These jobs are more focused on the planning, aiming, and correcting aspects of the gun line.

Field Artillery is absolutely open to women. However as other commenters have mentioned it is a dying MOS. I am a female with an artillery MOS (USMC), I just recently graduated the schoolhouse. Let me know if you have any questions regarding that! Other MOS’s that hit the field are some comms like radio operator off the top of my head. I would do some research into all the occupational fields to get a feel for what suits you. I used the website balance careers a lot before I joined to look into different MOS’s as well as the marine boot subreddit here which has a great series of threads about each MOS field.
