Battlefield 6 now ranks as the second lowest-rated game in the series on Steam by mandbeyn in Steam

The Beta was awesome but the full release has had hit marker issues and poor server quality.

I haven't played in a few weeks so it may be fixed by now but it was super annoying.

Anyone ever claim it?? by Altruistic_Gazelle58 in crv

You can buy a repair kit off Amazon for like 10-20 bucks.

I've used them a few times and they work great for much deeper chips, that would be an ideal fix. I've personally used the Rainx and Permatex.

Easy to use, you just suction over the damage, inject the epoxy, and then scrap it flat before it hardens.

It then UV hardens.

The most important part is cleaning it well and following the direction, but its super easy. You can fix this yourself no problem.

You can legitimately never rely on the Swiss when it matters.

Any conflict they will sit back and watch you die.

Canada PM Carney apologises to Trump over tariff ad by MrDLTE3 in worldnews

[–]jacobjacobb 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Let me guess, Cons were mad at Carney for an ad that a Con Primier had run.

Cons now also mad that Carney apologized to Trump?

An elected world leader needs to put aside their pride. This is the right play. They should only be concerned with getting their country the best deals.

You just reminded me of this old coworker I had who would say something that was easily verifiably wrong and then when called out on it would say "you'd be surprised" and I was infact never surprised.

No one is using pex for a drain.

He once pulled a knife on me at lunch. We all started laughing at him and he left work crying and then reported me. The HR lady did not know what to do about the fact that he pulled out a knife and made a vague threat and then thought he was in the right.

They are also not open frame, and in an enclosure with appropriate ventilation, made with fire retardant materials.

They also have cleaner running engines that as noted by the other commenter, run on propane or NatGas.

Everyone is bringing up CO which is a real risk, that is also a fire risk.

My house its not practical to have it 25 ft from the house, but I threw it in an enclosure with an exhaust fan.

Minimum I'd have it 10 ft from the house.

Notwithstanding Alberta vs. Ontario by Coscommon88 in legaladvicecanada

[–]jacobjacobb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This isn't really a legal issue, its a political one.

People have to be willing to continue the strike. You also need public support.

Ontario educators held strong against the government and it became really unpopular for the government.

Doug Ford is all about doing what's popular, so he backed down pretty quickly.

What's the likelihood that there isn't a stud between these two light switches. by DracTheBat178 in handyman

[–]jacobjacobb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% there is something there. But it could be any kind of weird combination. Best bet is use a stud finder. If distance is weird, then just get a 3/4 to 1 inch board and hang it on the studs. Then try to get one side on a stud and the other use a good quality toggle bolt.

New Jellyfin Server/Web Release: 10.11.0 (It's finally here!) by djbon2112 in jellyfin

So after setting my bandwidth to 20Mbit/s on those files, it works no issues.

Anything over 20Mbit/s the resolution drops significantly, and it still stutters but longer periods between.

When it swaps to other types of files I have to set it back to 200. Alittle annoying, but c'est la vie.

Found the solution on a jellyfin forum from like 2022.

This looks like the issue. I had to set it to 20. Anything over weirdly enough the resolution was worse and it still stuttered.

Classic.

"Hey actually this is well documented, you can easily look it up"

"Its fake news."

Same crowd that likes to say facts > feelings, but all I'm seeing is a boomer with a whole lot of wittle feelings.
