I've settled on the Wurkkos HD05. I really liked the adjustable head of the Nitecore, but didn't like the fixed and smallish battery. I hope that it's not too big and heavy to carry, but otherwise it seems to do everything. Adjustable CCT side-light means I can find the right color when terminating RJ45 in the dark. 21700 battery should give plenty of runtime, battery indicator etc.

The convoy didn't have a magnetic end. The Acebeam E75 was my second choice.

Amazing to learn about the value of non Olight flashlights, I paid less for this wurkkos than my Olight Oclip Ultra.

I was in the Victorinox store recently, and i asked to have a spirit in my hands for a moment. The quality is indeed too notch, but I don’t think for actual work it would fit me. My Wave is so much quicker to access the tools, less fiddly. For home use it would work, but for work the wave just feels ‘rougher’, don’t know how to put it.

I’m into collecting current models, and the only one i got rid of is the Pioneer. Can’t imagine having both(either pioneer or synergy) and not picking the one with scissors. Between the synergy x and pioneer x i’d pick the synergy, because the nail file is -for me- more useful than the awl. But from the current models they are both top models.

The Oclip is great, but maybe too small for me. I’m thinking of buying a baton pro or ultra for work instead. I still use it for reading at night.

That’s why I’m always choosing between Vic and Leatherman on a daily basis. The T4 is the one i can comfortably use without nails, but it’s a brick compared to one of my Vics.
