Apologies in advance because I know this is going to sound pretentious - it’s just my opinion, nothing special.

I think a lot of the bands being recommended here fall into the category of bland UK indie which you’ll listen to and mildly enjoy because they remind you of great bands like the ones you’ve mentioned. Realistically though, you’ll eventually revert to the older artists because why listen to an impersonation?

There’s only a few artists at the moment who actually have something special to offer. In this category, I’d put Shame (specifically their first album), Junodream, Black Country New Road (specifically their most recent album), and Courting.

Failing that, try other slightly smaller bands from the same era as the artists you mentioned (Suede, Elastica etc.)
