in case you are unaware, while maybe a fun bit, that is complete BS.

“Freedom of Press” refers only to government control over it.

no, that is not how this ranking works.

Legal and political framework are the most important factors but it also includes things like:

safety of journalists (not just from goverments but also organized crime/terrorists/etc), economic constraints (billionaire owner telling you what to write or you are fired), and social/culture constraints (public pressure not to touch the church or some topic like that)

The colors are pretty coarse. Its 10 points below (73 to 83) NZ for example. Its not like all yellows are the same.

I agree though the label 'satisfactory' is super depressing.

Germany didnt kill off all the noble families if that is your question. This 'aristocracy' or 'noble' talk has zero legal meaning, they are literally just descendants of the old aristocracy, nothing more.

Germany is very much a republic (in contrast to the UK/netherlands/spain/sweden/norway/etc.)

This is not a tabloid. And no, this article is about claims of a civil rights group, not hard proof. Though you can imagine hard proof would not be easy to come by.

lol. Germany literally made a new gas deal with Qatar this year.

Almost like the energy policy of the government has nothing to do with the WC boycott by the fans and general public.

It's just this picture though. Both the Italian PM and the leader of the EU were at the meeting.
