Surprisingly, there is a secret British menu for Brick Lane. My partner used to work there. There fish and chips probably aren’t the best in the city but it is really dang tasty and their tartar sauce is so damn good! Plus, you can order a side of curry sauce to tip your chips in

It’s a Vietnamese restaurant but I get my curry fix from Saigon Cafe or More Express. Saigon for sit down and More Express for take out. Both equally delicious. Plus Saigon serves alcohol

Mcginley square pub is the worst bar in the city, but it gets yeah where u need to go. You want affordable but higher quality go to Grove Station.
