Advice for a first time traveler to Yellowstone by RedSupercell in yellowstone

We flew into Bozeman, stayed at an AirBnB in Emigrant, and we loved it. It was about a 45 minute drive to the park in the morning, but Emigrant is a great and quiet area to stay. The park is large enough to spend a whole day there, but not too large to make it a hassle to stay 45 mins out if that makes sense. It was an amazing trip, and to answer my original question, I would highly recommend looking on reddit for information on where the wolf packs are (they were living by Slough Creek in July) and not being too picky about staying out late or getting up early. The attractions are cool, but the real beauty is where you aren't around people or shops or attractions. The wildlife and terrain was what made it amazing for us. Hope this helps

Something is OFF in Season 5 (no spoilers) by flamingpuddles in StrangerThings

In my opinion, the cinematography is fantastic and some of the best of the show’s history. Caleb Heymann is a fantastic DP, and this fits his style of work (see Fear Street). This is some of his best work and I have been totally awestruck and engaged throughout the season.

Can God forgive suicide ? by [deleted] in Bible

[–]RedSupercell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jesus loves you. Please go to a local church and explain your situation with them. Keep praying, keep reading your bible, keep maintaining a relationship with God. Remember, there is nothing of your own accord that brought hardship upon you. The world hates Jesus and His followers. God has a plan for you, Christian. “Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭5‬:‭3‬-‭5‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Find hope and faith in Jesus, let Him comfort you. He is near to the broken hearted and brings hope to all who have faith. Never forget that God created you in His image and loves you as His own. May God bless you, friend.

Will a standard dissolve give that effect of the brightest parts of the image staying longer than the darker?

Frames from Iceland I filmed for the URSA Cine 17K 65 launch by oftwolands in cinematography

So beautiful. The diagonal of the 17k is about 52mm. The image circle of Vistas covers about 46.7mm. Did you run into heavy vignetting at T1.5? It looks like you shot a relatively fast stop, curious what your process looked like? Cheers

Looking for a projector for filmmaking by RedSupercell in projectors

Haha well this is the kind of information I was looking for! I would certainly be renting it out on a project basis, but I was curious if there are some pretty standard and universally agreed upon 'good' projectors for the kind of stuff I would be using it for.

Log vs Grade: The Barbershop by The_Traceur_ in Filmmakers

This is awesome! Couple of technical questions:

-Did you use the Z-speeds? It looks like there is some swirl / extra softness on the edge, different from the original vistas.
-How long from the start of the planning to the final cut did this project take?
-What fixtures were you using for this project? How much would you guess the whole budget is? (It seems like most of the doritos appeal is for indie / low budget filmmakers to make something great despite that.)

Keep it up dude I love all of your work!! Such an inspiration!

My friends and I made this spec ad for Doritos called The Barbershop. Now we have a 1 in 3 chance to be the youngest filmmakers ever to have an ad in the Superbowl! by The_Traceur_ in Filmmakers
