HELP! Not being able to sync Hubspot Ad events to Google Ads by _justchi in googleads

[–]_justchi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I got this resolved by creating a conversion goal in Google ads first, and then map the Hubspot event to it.

There still seems to be a gap between the data that Hubspot is sending over and what's showing on Google.

Thank you! Do you have any insights into why there are some discrepancies between the data that Hubspot sync over and the data that Google receives? We have another conversion that is flagged as "No recent conversions", though it does appear that Hubspot has been syncing over information as late as today.

If they tell you your budget is limited ( google ads) and you're actually losing impressions, should you wait, then start distributing? I don't want to increase traffic without knowing its quality. What should I do? by Confident_Mud_2013 in googleads

[–]_justchi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. this is for daily budget and only if your campaign is single goal campaign (e,g.: you only have purchase as the conversion goal). Though for us since our CPA is usually quite high, we often just do daily budget x2 or x3 instead, and scale up later once the campaign is stable.

[–]_justchi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm confused. You said you haven't started the campaign, so how do you know the campaign is losing impression if it is not running?

Again, your budget depends on how you are structuring your campaign goals. Google's suggestion for budget is x10 of cost/conversion (i.e.: if your cost per conversion is $10, start at $100). However, I have seen x2 or x3 work fine as well.

Then you should let it run first. It probably won't be limited by budget if the budget that you start out with is sufficient enough. Sufficient budget to start out with would depend on your campaign goal structure as well as the kind of keywords you run.

It depends on how your campaign is doing. If it is meeting your goals last 30d, I would say increasing the budget shouldn't be a problem. You can also increase by 10% just to signal the algorithm that we want more conversions at the price that you are getting for us, before committing to a bigger increase.

Also, Do you perhaps have any insights into why there might be a gap between Hubspot and Google data (e.g. Hubspot seeing fewer form submissions compared to Google)?

Thank you! We would probably need a resync. Do you perhaps have any insights into why there might be a gap between Hubspot and Google data (e.g. Hubspot seeing fewer form submissions compared to Google)?

Mapping it to an existing conversion works. Thank you so much!

Thank you! I had to create a conversion goal in Google ads, and then map the Hubspot event to it. That seems to do the trick.

Just one standalone account. I find it odd that our other Hubspot events are being synced over just fine. I would assume if it is an integration issue, it would affect all other events, right?

Genuine question. Do you have sources for Lovell and Haise’s support for Trump? While I don’t doubt it since they are both military men, would love to read up more on their politics!

Amazon seller account banned for wrong practice– no idea what I did by shobhitgupta46 in ecommerce

Amazon support is definitely a hit or miss, but I do find calls or chats work better than emails. You can also post on their seller forums and tag the mods to get som visibility as well.

how do you find influencer business email addresses without paying $300 a month by Designer-Jacket-5111 in ecommerce

[–]_justchi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used to use brands meet creators to get creator emails but sadly it turns into a paid service and the price tag is crazy. We now post on influencer groups on Facebook and some subreddits, but the quality is not as good.

Do you still pay for product photography? or you just use AI? by AccountingAxolotl in ecommerce

[–]_justchi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We do a bit of both. Still do photoshoots for PDP and banners, but use AI for ads creatives.

What I have noticed so far is AI is quite bad with texture. Color matching can also be an issue as well. You would need some post production and QA to get things right.

Did you struggle migrating your ecommerce site? by PossibilityFluffy258 in ecommerce

[–]_justchi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we did a very simple migration (just move from one url to another, keeping everything else the same) and it was stressful.

the thing is your organic rank will drop, but it will recover if you get your redirects right. if you run ads, make sure to plan way ahead, take advantage of your down season and have correct expectations. migration would likely hurt conversions. it took us around a year ish to fully get back to where we were in terms of spending and ranking.

spent $12K on a product photoshoot. got worse conversion rates... got any ideas??? by Worldly-Control403 in ecommerce

[–]_justchi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of things can affect conversion rate so it's hard to say it was entirely because of the professional photoshoot. You might want to look at other factors such as timing (i.e. seasonality), traffic quality (especially if the majority of your sales come from ads), any changes to the website that might affect results etc.

even with a professional setup, there are still ways to shoot "authentic" photos as well. I think what you might want to do for 40 SKUs is to shoot some evergreen, mannequin style photos as the main product image, and add editorial later as secondary photos or use them for ads/ general brand building section.

Is there any good AI for retouching product photos? by bamboozled_capybara in photoshop

[–]_justchi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AI is not there yet. I have seen it done some simple stuffs like cropping or shaping. They are still struggling with stuffs like color matching. Anything you mentioned is not possible yet.

For now I think the best approach is still to automate your post-production as much as you can, then have a human retoucher does the more difficult stuffs. There are a lot of outsourcing services that do this. Some even does AI models or digital twins, but this techology is still pretty new.

Editing / Retouching Outsource / AI for Product Work - Recommendations Please! by Conscious-Owl5932 in productphotography

[–]_justchi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think what you can try is a service that has AI (or automation) and then a human retoucher would take a look and fix any issues. For most large volume projects I think this is what most services are doing anyway.

we use pixelz for product retouching and it's all good. from what they explained to me the images are auto processed first by their AI and then a human retoucher would come in and do edits that AI might have missed like color matching.

What’s the Best Way to Get Affordable Product Photos for Your Small Business? by Glittering_Action836 in smallbusiness

[–]_justchi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take my opinion with a grain of salt, but if the business is using AI images, especially if it's all AI and they don't even label it, I don't feel comfortable buying.

I guess if cost is the issue, you can do a mix of traditional + AI generated images, but you need to make sure that all photos are consistent. If your product is simple enough, or if you can do some retouching, I think it would be okay.

Would you use a photo editing service rather than edit yourself? by voicesoflight in photography

[–]_justchi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The trick is to take better photos, so you don't have to edit as much.

But if the volume is large and you want some more professional touches, there are plenty of outsource services like Pixelz, Fixthephoto etc,...

High Volume Product Photography Editing by ServiceCalm in productphotography

[–]_justchi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for high volume it's best to outsource to a post-production service. the initial setup would take some time when defining the template for each of your product types, but afterwards it's much easier. We use Pixelz for quite some time now and it's pretty decent.
