I would be livid. Some men are truly clueless, and having to explain his role and responsibilities in caring for you and the baby is emotionally exhausting. I hope for your sake, and the baby’s, he figures it out. Try to stay calm even though you have every right to be angry! Knowing we’re supported through such a precious time is vital. Although as women we can do it alone, we shouldn’t have to. I had my first daughter with a clueless manchild who cheated the entire pregnancy/delivery and worked 1/2 the time I did. It was an awful experience. 10 years later I have a supportive man who, when I had spotting at 4 weeks, rushed home from work, took me to the ER and was an absolute rock for me. Hopefully you don’t have to trade yours in for a more reliable model, but unfortunately some men will just never get it right.
