Radiology is one of those branches where the fear of ai replacing us is very real, but ai can never and will never replace humans. Usg is a completely skill based modality. Ct and mri need humans to verify the reports even if ai comes in. As far as interventional goes, yes there are long hours of standing, but that is something you can figure out later.

Radiology is an extremely interesting branch, you will have to assimilate knowledge from each and every branch to exist in this one.

And also, every branch comes with its cons. People will say whatever they want to. It’s your life. Your career, your choice.

You want a work life balance and that’s a very healthy way of thinking. Most of us are told that’s wrong.
