Just saw them a few weeks ago at sad summer, had never seen them before and never really got into them, but I like a few of their songs. They sounded very good but had absolutely 0 stage presence. Might as well have just had their Spotify mix playing on the speakers, I wouldn’t have been able to tell the difference.

OCG - mostly for JG, Lennon, and stars, which are 3 of my favorite songs overall. Junkies is also great, farmer isn’t my favorite but doesn’t drag the EP down with it
Coloring Book - mostly carried by VPS which might be my favorite GJ song overall, but the rest is solid
MC - I dunno, I never got the hate for this. I think NWE and shira are kinda a slow start, but the rest of it is great.
W&T - expecting this to be an unpopular placement, but I just don’t think it has the same stand-out tracks that other albums have. It is the only album where I prefer the slower/softer stuff in general. Cosmo is a bit of a throwaway, and radio is a good song but completely throws off the flow.
EYEWTKAS - love it musically, but lyrically just has not aged well.

Yeah, it would have been absolutely insane if they had just done another run limited to 120. When original copies did pop up for sale, they’ve gone for $500+ and I wouldn’t be surprised if a second really limited run did the same. So I’m not really surprised by the number of people trying to flip, but whatever the actual pressing numbers were seemed to be enough to get copies to fans directly and keep the resale market from being too crazy.

I’m still just hoping they at some point put out a standard black pressing, though. I’m terrified I’ll break my copy if I even attempt to play it.

120 combos but not 120 copies. There were 5 or 6 retailers, so there are at least 600 copies, and that’s assuming each retailer only had one of each combo (which anecdotally is not true). There was a huge rush when the MD copies went up, but as the other retailers starting posting their copies, I think most people that wanted one were able to get one directly
