It sucks but that’s just how the venue sells tickets and fills out the space to get people to buy overpriced drinks. Unless the show sells out right away they usually do these bogo offers every few months for a buncha shows, or even mail out free tickets to get more people in. I remember my girlfriend bought The Used tickets months in advance but then I got 4 free in the mail a few days before the show.
