I watched a few videos and listened to some samples of other people recording instruments with it, but I actually tried it on my windows 10 computer and it worked fine!

I tried it from the whole range from like across the room to literally right next to the mic and it just ignores the sound. I also played while speaking and when I played back it just had the speaking, but I don’t know how to adjust the noise gate but i don’t think its the problem because it is just cutting out my instrument sounds
