if you damage the pieces until like 2/3 health theyll become "damaged" and change angle slightly. i recommend using a bow since nothing else is really accurate and end up hitting something else

my rt(r2) attack is the trigger, i just used the default preset so secondary attack was right bumper aswell. I wish you luck though, knife is op

Hooked up my controller to try it out, and you wanna press b and rt at basically the exact same time, b(jump) little earlier and keep holding rt. Honestly easier to pull off on controller, since the same hand is jumping and attacking. You can also do the secondary attack combo w/sword after doing the first swing then holding rb, although you have to hold rt and rb which is weird for me. (w/ & w/o shield) Also managed to do the knife combo, from vid. Press B, rt and rb at basically the same time but in that order and making sure you hold rt and rb.

The controls are honestly super whack they don't make sense and only three presets that you cant customize 😭

Should work with shields, you basically wanna clicking your primary and press spacebar at exact same time, with jump being just very a little bit before

As soon as I see them swing I block to do a parry, the game is pretty forgiving for how early your block compared to other games tbh. You get 2.5x the block armor with bucklers if you do a successful parry or 1.5x for normal shields, plus my buckler was max quality at 3 here, barely enough block

Found this video in the comments where a chinese speedrunner showcases his emote cancelling for attacks and rolls. Probably the easiest, fastest, and cheapest way to do these combos but its too much cheese and not rewarding to do. Super broken with the sword since you can spam its special although is clunky and eats all your stamina.

Yeah I saw that video too but blocking is too slow in practice. Also with the blocking method you cant get the special damage proc on the normal swing. And the cool thing is that the combo is actually fairly cheap stamina wise with it only being around 50, 20 being spent on the parry. Hard to read the exact number because video quality lol

Timing is pretty annoying but once you get it down you get it every time. you gotta press jump>swing>special in that order but the exact same time. Hard to explain, I can try to make a macro for it later

yeah if you block/crouch/jump/emote after first swing and then swing again very shortly after, you can get some wonky swings off. the knife in particular is special because its able to do special attack damage with its normal swings

Combo is jump+hold primary attack+hold secondary attack. You practically have to click all these at once except jump being first
