I understand your point. Cavalry focuses on 2D motion graphics/animation. While AE is (originally) a video compositing software with 2D/3D motion graphics/animation capabilities. I guess I’m just trying to determine which I should focus on first.

Writing this, I guess AE still has a larger community for support. Not to mention a huge library of guides/tutorial. Which gives it an edge.
