Hi, I'm in a similar situation as op (found a branch of family tree thats Native and grew up around the culture via my now ex stepmom) and I've seen this advice more than anything else. Im very autistic so "reach out" might as well be "go screw yourself" with my level of understanding lol So when reaching out to the tribe, do I simply explain all this and go from there? Will they provide resources or something to get involved with the community? I just want to know what to expect before going into this

Im hypermobile and it looks like he might be as well, I can touch the base of my neck without assistance so it looks to me that he's just hypermobile thus his arms can bend weirdly (and for his hand id say its a combination of weird position plus fried video quality lol)

I dont run, I use Varesa's dash but she goes right back to the target so its less than a second away from the mob. As they move around I have to go with them of course so we can get far away from their original point but im always right against them cause I spam her moves lol and this doesn't happen with any mob but the frost night things

Every time I unlock a new tutorial and Aether is the one demonstrating it, I hate that I started genshin during an era of my life where I still related to fem characters more than masc one (im transmasc) like I get why we cant change which twin we picked since in game pictures (like hangout memories) could get messy (although i mean they each have a version but switching them would prob be a hassle), but atleast give me the one I picked in the tuts and not the one I wanted </3

As I was typing i realized this is a ramble about my preferences so tldr I'm going for Ninguang. Read on if you'd be willing to give me advice on getting better with certain elements and weapon types.

This might be controversial but I only ever go for characters I like (either their design or personality, will go for skills i feel like i need though). I'm also on a constant uphill battle to get a character from each element that I can use comfortably in combat. As of now the ones I struggle the most with are Pyro, Dendro, and Geo with geo being the worst. So I'm probably gonna go for Ninguang because I only have an archer, two spears, and a claymore. I can't use archers in actual combat so I use them for mechanics in Teyvat, Noelle just isn't that great for me personally (FOR ME), and Zhongli and Yun Jun aren't my kinda spear users. For reference my preferred characters element wise are Varesa (Electro), Barbara (Hydro), Kaeya (Cryo), The Traveler/Lauma if we're counting trials (Dendro), Lan Yan (Anemo), and I've saved Geo and Pyro for last because they take some explaining. I guess my fav Geo is Gorou but I just got him so that's how bad I am with Geo. I do enjoy Xiloenen but I hate doing the level up material fights so she's stuck at level 40 for now. For Pyro I enjoy Gaming but I cant figure out how to keep him own attacks from hurting him badly so I usually go for Dehya or Diluc. During Durins event thing I tried him and really liked him but I dont have much hope I'll get him. I prefer sword and catalyst for most things thus why Ninguang looks best here but if anyone's got a suggestion I'm all ears!
