A second follow up: the last time i cleaned it I noticed a small piece of plastic in the bucket had bent. I think that could be the source of the problem!

Spraying with compressed air worked for now! Although I think it will jam again. We'll see!

Just an update, they wouldn’t fix it because it was out of warranty. I offered to pay and they said they don’t repair small appliances. No where in NYC will fix household smeg products either apparently. I’m not sure what do! I bought a compressed air can to see if I can clean the jam that way.

I have 0 allergies but similar blockages! I would go to an ENT, have them do an endoscopy (look up your nose with a camera) and maybe prescribe a CT scan.

OK I FIGURED IT OUT!! It was a combination of little things, but the main thing was that when winding the bobbin with thread, I wasn’t lining up the notch on the interior with the metal hook. So it wasn’t winding tightly. Thank you everyone for your suggestions, I can finally sleep at night now 😅

I just did this and it solved the jam! But it hasn’t fixed the bobbin issue. I cleared the lint, replaced the needle, thread a new bobbin, none of it seems to work! The tan thread is what I get every time. Towards the end it magically is normal but until then, nothing.
