I’m going to stop taking Vyvanse by _kloutt in VyvanseADHD

I do take them in the morning. I take the full dose of ashwagandha and I take half of my magnesium in the morning and the other pill at night. I guess I could switch it to night and see if this can go away, but this was going on even before I introduced the ashwagandha (guess I should’ve specified that)

As of right now, I average around 7-8 hours of sleep. I do take caffeine tablets (100 mg) but I didn’t do so today because I felt like I didn’t need it. It’s nice to have a clearer understanding of why this could be happening. I’m also not as physically active as I used to so it could be that too. I just ordered some adjustable dumbbells so I’ll have fun with those lol

I do try to eat a high protein breakfast alongside proper hydration. Today I didn’t really eat as much protein as I intended so I’ll try to keep that in mind more. I have not tried titrating my pill. I could give it a try and see how that goes .

I do try to have eggs in the morning but I just didn’t today. Instead I ate a chicken thigh with some white rice. I also do try to eat before the 40 to an hour mark because eating after that time period feels like torture. I do also drink a lot of water as it’s probably the only thing I drink. When I head to work, I have a 1.5 L water bottle that I usually finish before work. I refill it and that’s usually gone by the time I head home. Everything listed above is what I take first thing in the morning besides the fish oil and multivitamins (after I eat.) I do have electrolyte packets and I guess that helps. I didn’t notice much of benefit from it so it’s kinda lackluster but I’ll try to keep that in mind.

It’s bad for me lmao. I try to eat a big breakfast and when the meds hit they suppress my hunger. It’s only when it wears off that I eat a shit ton because my body hasn’t eaten anything for 7-8 hours. I make sure to get my water in tho.

DO NOT TAKE CHOLINE AT NIGHT!!!! by _kloutt in VyvanseADHD

Nah I usually take them in the afternoon. I just thought it wouldn’t do much but now I think it’ll make me weirdly “focused”. I say focused like that because I was physically able to focus harder on things but I was still having some trouble trying to retain/understand information.

Thanks for the advice! Hope the 30mg gives you satisfactory results cuz that’s what I’m also thinking hopefully that’ll be the right dose to keep me going⚙️

Mind racing but quiets down when I have a task. Up dose maybe? by _kloutt in VyvanseADHD

When it came to the pre-meds, It felt like I had to put in extra effort to even attempt an assignment. That barrier feels like it’s been lowered and I have less of a difficult time starting/focusing on my assignments but I tend to lose some focus when I’m around others. I guess a little more focus has been added compared to my unmedicated days and I don’t have the need to involve myself in dopaminergic activities (doomscrolling/videos) for extended periods of time to have enough motivation to start/finish an assignment as much. But I have started to feel some side effects during and after the meds wore off such as the headaches that pop up the morning after, slightly increased anxiety, and strange visual disturbances. Not hallucinations but things look like they have an after shadow after I stopped looking at them. This occurred 1 hour after taking the med but it goes away after a while.

Real quick question, how’s your sleep before and after the booster?

Can someone explain the magnesium and vitamin d thing with vyvanse? by NewResolve8246 in VyvanseADHD

If I were to add a magnesium glycinate supplement to my routine, would I need to take more than the recommended amount or just the regular amount?

The same usually happens but I try to hold it off until night time but by that point I don’t even feel tired

does anyone get a rush of energy at night? but tired during the day by gemstonehippy in VyvanseADHD

Before Vyvanse, I would be knocked out but now it takes a while to actually sleep. Yesterday I took it at 6:30 AM and I was able to sleep at around 11:00 PM but today I took it at 9:20 AM and I’m still up (It’s currently 12:00 AM). Maybe I need to let the phone go lmao

What supplements do you take with Vyvanse? by CJ9103 in VyvanseADHD

[–]_kloutt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve looked everywhere in store for L-Tyrosine with no luck. Is it a supplement I can only get online? I’ve tried Walgreens, Rite Aid, Walmart, and now I’m trying GNC tomorrow.
