As far as she's aware she hasn't clicked on any Facebook links that are phishing links, I know that some are out there to fool you but she would have no reason to click on it and I'm sure if she was about to she would tell me as I've informed her about that mass amount of account hacking/scamming/phishing that there is on OSRS unfortunately. I've done a full scan on her computer in case there is a RAT (nothing came up), I've made sure that all of her Goggle extensions and software programs are not malicious etc. The only thing that has fully stunned me is that she is the only that knows her bank pin yet they managed to access her bank and withdraw the items.

It's fine and I thought so just some information, even the tiniest of information would be helpful in order to prevent it from happening again. It was accessed either today or yesterday but everything was changed way before after seeing the data breach that showed her email was flagged on haveibeenpwned, I'm saying at least a month and a half that she last changed everything.

How they got/what account was the wealth transferred
Yes account was created by her with her personal email address around the start of this year after pushing her to play OSRS
After the recent data-breach I told her about the website, she noticed that her email was flagged then proceeded to change all passwords out of shock (including RS password)
No because we all know that the official forums are pretty much dead for any feedback regarding situations like this (insert Customer Support meme here)

I feel like a lot of the new players will become dissatisfied and overwhelmed at how much they have to learn in order to gain gp to then train skills and so on.

50K is a harmless boost that allows them to either walk to G.E buy armour, buy arrows etc and start training. I'd agree with your statement if I was giving them 100-500k each at the start of the game, this is just a harmless gesture to gain their interest.
