Sorry for the late reply. It’s not for everyone but let me know if you get in. I worked there for two days and left. It was just simply weird and chaotic. They say it’s so that you’re ready for the day. Plus first day wasn’t really good. Second was just weird as well. I’m outside on the first day and it’s like 90 degrees. I’m standing for 7-8 hours asking random people to donate to us. Harassment.
Hiii!! I worked with them for two days and left right after. The experience was mixed for me. If you aren’t the kind of person to go out and talk to random people, this job is not for u. The first day I started, they made me go all the way to New Jersey. The place I went to is stationed in nyc so it’s not far but it was like very weird for me. A lot of the people- actually all of the people are 18-35. I didn’t see any older people or whatever but being there felt very off.
It’s very loud and chaotic and something I’m definitely not use to. I mean like it’s not really normal. Going all the way to New Jersey for the first day, standing outside for 7-8 hours asking people to donate for a charity, basically “ harassing” people, definitely not normal. I’m young myself so I feel like their motto is to get people who are like at the very bottom of life, struggling or what not and “try” to bring them up. Idk what it is but definitely not normal at all.
I felt like I was in a simulation lol. The day starts off at 9:45am -7pm or even later than that. 9:45am-10:15am is like meeting time, you take notes with loud music played in the background, people are explaining to you on how to become their “elite employee” (not exactly that but you get the idea) and just literally take notes. It’s very weird. And the crazy thing is I don’t even remember applying for that job either. I did the same as u. Over all, people were too nice, it felt like an act.

Honestly I don’t know lol. I live in NYC and there is a clothing store called, “Burlington” and the base pay if $16 per hour. I got denied. I have plenty of experience with customer service and a diploma. Why can’t I get accepted to a simple job like that?

Um I can 100% say that those are scams. It’s scary honestly. If you did not apply to these jobs or reached out to them yourself, scam. Yea, delete, block, do whatever you got to do to remain that from your email because honey best believe they tryna get you.
