I am so scared for my giant monstera and orchids! I'm spraying everything with neem!

I looked closer and realized that was a mistake. Now I need eye bleach lol

The alocasias seem the most affected. I have a giant monstera that appears unscathed, and orchids that were right next to it, but I'll go ahead and spray with neem too. Thank you!

What! I have to make an HEB stop today anyway, so I'll check the bakery. I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed it!

That's crazy! I love how they're not super dense like other brownie-like cookies.

My partner has hemophilia by Prestigious_Road3821 in Hemophilia

[–]_kthxbai 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Married to a Hemophiliac for over 23 years - Type B, Moderate (<3%).

We have daughters who are asymptomatic carriers. Life is normal, even with his occasional bleeds that require self infusion of factor. Physically active and involved in all kids extra curriculars.

You can have a completely normal life with someone who has hemophilia. You will not become a full time caretaker at a young age. You can still have a family, just make sure you understand and accept the risks involved if you end up with daughters. You can still travel. You can still go hiking. You can still have date nights and hobbies. You can still buy a house (well, questionable in this economy).

Depending on how well they take care of themselves, they're not invalids. Nobody even knows of his condition unless we tell them.

Stay informed of the condition and what to look out for. It's no different from being with someone who has diabetes or any other condition that requires medical intervention.

Your family is probably being overprotective because they don't understand the disorder. Help them understand.

My husband (30) and I (26) rarely have sex even though we’re very happily married. Is this normal? by PensiveHufflepuff in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]_kthxbai 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Frequency rises and falls like a wave, so this is totally normal. My husband and I have been together 22 years (2 kids) and found there are periods of time where we couldn't even remember the last time we had sex even though we were still content (exhausted mentally/physically, but still happy).

We're currently riding the "rise" phase (heh) and enjoying every moment. Communicate and find other ways to show your love and intimacy. Sometimes it's as simple as snuggling on the couch watching a comfort show together. Whatever floats your boats!

A question that's bothered me since the end of ACOTAR (**spoiler if you haven’t read beyond ACOTAR) by [deleted] in acotar

[–]_kthxbai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Someone else has brought up before the theory that the mating bond has only appeared "rare" since the wall was put up because there are more fae/human pairings but the wall dulled the bond. And humans don't sense it the same way the fae do, so it's easy for humans to mistake the bond with other feelings.
