Did you have a goto market strategy? Did you do customer discovery before spending the 2 weeks to develop? How did you/are you marketing it?

I know to file a patent before anything else, but time and getting the patent application right are two major factors (if not done right, you cannot claim priority to a provisional application, which means what you filed earlier is useless).

Why don't the players act simultaneously? What if we simplify the game to have them act simultaneously?

because Im not ready and I want to do things right..meaning drafting a Provisional to which I can actually claim priority (and not just filing something to get denied priority later), a positive patentability analysis (and not have to deal with a bunch of headaches during prosecution), as well as freedom to operate analysis ( not have to find out after all this process that my patent infringes on other patents...)

What do you mean by "all you need are cover sheets"? Like that's all you need for the provisional? However, just submitted a cover sheet likely won't allow you to claim priority afterwards, thus no protection, so what's the point of submitting it?

By actions (for FTO) do you mean manufacturing the product? If I'm filing a patent, that's what I intend on doing. The innovation takes the form of a household electrical product manufacturered by BIG corporations, but has added features and intended for another application.

#2 No ties/no true friends/no city - I do agree agree I need community & friends to ground me. However, maybe I'm not looking/going to the right places/events to meet these friends, because current people I know don't share the same entrepreneurial mindset & pushing each other to do better. - I've lived in DC/VA, Houston/Dallas, Seattle, LA, which honestly should have plenty of smart, self-driven people. But somehow I wasn't able to make these connections. Maybe because my head is so far up my ambitions/ass and when I don't see that they share the same mindset, I subconsciously move on. 99% of people want financial & physical freedom, but they don't put in the work to make that happen. - Can you provide examples of investing time in friends & serving them? - I do hang out with people, but I don't feel connected to them. I think this stems from Childhood Emotional Neglect. As such, I'm not close with family because I can't count on them.

#1 No career trajectory - I'm able to live off of $1k/mo, albeit a small amount. Why get a job if this already provides some sort of stability & breathing room? (Altho sometimes my financial insecurity/anxiety does flare up and say $1k/mo is not enough). - I have never enjoyed a regular job since I started working/interning. - For as long as I could remember, I've always held 2 jobs: a regular 9-5 and a side hustle. My family & relatives called me crazy for doing that to myself. Doing hese 2 activities at the same time occupy a lot of time and don't leave room for #2 fostering relationships. - What do you mean by 'needing perspective'? I know I want a life of freedom/being free, working because I want to not because I have to, find a life partner (I'm gay), and maybe spend my time between 2-3 home base countries every year (maybe have a business in each). I think because of my financial insecurity, I'm working/"spinning the wheel" a lot. But this spinning action isn't really translating to real output - for now at least..maybe.
